| Been a while. Just a few updates. I still love BB. He lost, but is still my hero. I wish I had the nerve to tell him. My infection is almost gone. Fungus can be very hard to cure!!! The doctor assures me that I am no longer contagious.
I am back at the marina, thank God. Boy did I miss my boss Bill. He is the greatest, but I wish he would quit reading my Xanga site.
Why does M..... think he is the center of the universe? The world does not revolve around him.
I have a new guy I work with. His name is Brandon S. He is a living dream boat. I wish he would realize that I exist. Maybe someday. He maybe going with me to Iowa. I can only hope.
My best freind Jordan has a new boyfriend. I really like him. He is a great kisser, but he has not kissed her yet.
Hodaddy, good luck with that marriage thing. This would never have happened, if I would have said yes when you proposed to me.
Tyler, the dance lesson were great. I really liked the part where you lifted me over your head. When we dance.... well I just get the vapors.
I know people really don't say what they really think on Xanga, but I decided to give honesty a try. Well I gotta go, and there are a few of you who I really like. So lets make a deal, and be honest with ourselves and with our blogs. What do you think?
Tons of Selective Love,
Lindsey

| Sorry to say but I'm really getting sick of XANGA. I don't know how much longer I'll be a member of it. Sorry if anyone doesn't like this entry but it's me venting on things that have been happening.
SEX: Why the heck to people find it erotic to have sex in public places? Does it really give them a thrill to have sex out in the middle of the football field or in the public park?
Sorority Life: People always ask me, "how is sorority life?" I would always answer "it's great. Nothing like the movies portray them to be." Well it has not been going well these past few weeks. We are a crazy bunch of girls. I'll admit to that. It was really hot in the house and we had all the windows open so two girls couldn't take it any longer so they got into their bathing suit then they got this brillant idea to make fools of themselves and put beads, cowboy hat and leis on themselves and posed for the camera. Oh, and us girls do NOT get along with the other sorority girls. They don't like us that well b/c are stepping on their territory especially around the fraternities. Tonight nine of us girls piled in Stef's Taurus and went to Hy-Vee to buy steaks and a whole bunch of picnic food. It was 9:30. We went over to one of the fraternities because we do not own a grill. It was awesome and the steaks were so GOOD!! I haven't had a steak in months. Sorority life is great. I enjoy it so much, but then it starts to become a security problem. An ex-boyfriend attacked one of my girls and she ended up in a yard around campus and thank the LORD that some baseball players found her and sheltered her. The ex isn't allowed back on campus and she's getting a restraining order. It's even scarier is that our door is really old 70 years and sometimes it doesn't lock. So this psycho boyfriend could enter our house at any time. This past week has been so bad! One of this girls uncle commited suicide, ex attacks, grandpa has a stroke, girl had to go home and protect her mom from her dad when she tells him that she wants a divorce, girls gets cheated on. It has just been a bad bad week.
Greek Week: Greek Week went so good!! I was apart of the Talent Show and I did not sing. I did the Numa Numa Dance. It was so awesome!!! I had so much adrenaline. I've been up on stage before singing but it so much different when it's not classical. It's the kind of music that you get an audiences reaction out of it; clapping, screaming. It was priceless. Then for lip sync one of the guys dropped out so I got to dance the numa numa dance for the second time. When I got on stage everyone went crazy. Today one of the guys that did the dance with me was like "my friends were so impressed. The girl that did the dance with you was so good and got into it!!!" Another sorority girl saw me and was like "that's the numa girl" Ben was like "yep. That's Lindsey." It's so cool to be recognized for making a fool of myself. I danced exactly like Gary did. I was very proud of myself for getting up and doing it.
***If you want to work out your arms. Watch the Numa video 5 times a day back to back and you'll get an arm workout. Seriously! I have arm muscle now!
Movie Review: DO NOT: I REPEAT DO NOT RENT "The Exorcist: The Beginnings" It wasn't scary! I was very disappointed. I did jump and scream twice but only twice. Besides who were they kidding? That can't make a movie better than the original. The movie has been out for 30+ years and it still ranked the scariest horror movie of all time. SPANGLISH: Not what I thought it would be. It's not your typical Adam Sandler movie, but don't worry there are some classical Adam Sandler in there. I have mixed feeling about this. It was not anything I thought the movie was going to be about, but it had a good message and it was really funny! SAHARA: For all you ladies reading this go see it!!! Matthew McCoughney is so freakin' hot! He is tan and has no shirt on half of the time, but this movie is so much more than just pretty actors. It has a really good plot line and keeps you on your toes. I reccomend it!
I have one week of school left then finals and then I'm home!!! WOO HOO!!!
| oh my gosh!!! I just found something amazing that I'm addicted to. Once you watch this video you won't be able to stop watching it. The tune is so catchy. This is a college student from New Jersey who decided to make a music video of a Russian song called O-Zone’s “Dragostea Din Tei,” or in other words the "Numa Numa Dance" song. It's hilarious!!!!

| These past few days have been going really well. Two weeks ago the Greek Community at Simpson College asked for donations for The Cure for Diabetes. Yesterday morning our sorority and the greek community and went to the walk. That was my first time that I've ever attended a charity thing like that. Then we went on a mini-retreat and stayed in a suite hotel. It wasn't meant to be "fun" it was a workshop where we brainstormed ideas for recruitment and what not. I couldn't stand sitting down and being quiet for anymore. Me and my roomie Kim started making faces at each other and busted up laughing. Our consultant grabbed me by the hand and sat me right next to her. I felt like a 4 year old again. Then we interupped the workshop again by laughing because a girl marked all over her face with markers. She looked like an Indian. Our consultant got really mad, but what do you expect from 19-21 year olds? We finally were finished and we got to have fun!! We went to the pool and then spent a few hours playing the "fortune telling game". guess what time I went to bed last night? It's the EARLIEST time I've ever gone to bed on a Saturday Night since I've been here at college. I went to bed.
P.S. You gotta love drunk phone calls at 2:45 in the morning!!!
| Alrighty then....I'm updating. Okay here's the scoop in Lindsey's life. I'm sleeping, doing homework, planning a panhellinic event for AXO, playing super nintendo. That is pretty much it.
Date party went really well. I was kind of worried about it but it all went really well. I felt really bad for Mack. He was sick with tonsilitis(sp?) but came anyway. All the girls outfits were so creative (so were the guys). We had karaoke and it was a little rocky at first. No one wanted to get up and sing so this lady started singing and before I came I wanted to sing "Redneck Woman" so I told myself I was going to sing that song but then the lady sang it. Everyone seriously pushed up there to steal the mike from her b/c they all knew I wanted to sing it. De, Maggie, and I went up "onstage" and sang "I Will Survive" We won best "group" heck yeah!!! I was flipping through their little booklet of songs (there are like 1,000) and I got to LeAnn Rimes "Can't Fight the Moonlight" I told Mack "Should I sing this?" he replied "if you do your singing ontop of the bar" (don't worry...I didn't). If anyone who didn't read my last entry I went as "Daisy Duke" I had so much fun!!! It's so weird because when you dress up as someone else you feel more confident about yourself. I was already a little skeptical of wearing short shorts and my shirt tied under my bust but it wasn't bad. I was dressed like a "christian Daisy Duke" My short were like a 2 inch inseam but I bought a pair of jeans at goodwill so the pants were all the way up my waist. They were small. Like my roommate last semester (who's a size 0) tried them on and they were a little loose on her hips. So you could imagine how OLD those jeans were and how much clothing sizes has changed over the years. My boots from Ebay came in and they're so CUTE!!! I'm so glad I bought them. $14.00 including shipping. Love ya!!!
